Its officially summer. I live in the Northwest and this year, as often happens, winter pretty much hung around until the heat hit. I love living in this part of the country but would it hurt to have a honest to goodness season called SPRING.
Okay, I’m off my rant and rediculously excited about a number of things. Lets see if I can keep them all staight.
1. I officially have ‘published’ my first story at Smashwords. I use the term loosely because the deal is, I took a novella I’d gotten back the rights for and jumped through a bunch of hoops so I could upload Night Hunter at Smashwords. Via a process I don’t pretend to understand, Smashwords sends Night Hunter to the other reader sites such as Kindle and Nook. Instead of make your head spin with the details, here’s the book in all its exciting glory. http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/18486
2. Whitewater Hunter just released through Ellora’s Cave. This is my first story with a new editor and I’m delighted with our relationship.
3. I just sold two more stories to Ellora’s Cave. Cowboy Pick-up is a super short quickie and a blast to write. I got to pretend I was hanging out at a cowboy bar. Soco Awakening takes place on a Florida island that’s my own creation yet patterened after one my husband, his sister, and her husband spent a couple of delightful days at.
4. Time to get going on the second book in my three book Kensington Aphrodisia contract. Fortunately I actually know what I’m going to write about. The plot–lots of adventure and paranormal has been perking for weeks.
Think that’s all.
